Connector naming method Jul 02, 2018

    The model of the universal frequency connector is composed of two parts: the main name code and the structural form code, separated by a dash "-" in the middle. Other situations that need to be explained can be stipulated in the detailed regulations, and separated by dashes and structural form codes.

    The main designation code of the universal radio frequency connector adopts the main designation code commonly used at home and abroad. The main designation code of the special product shall be specified by the detailed specification.

    (1) The code and description of the general title

    N connector: A threaded radio frequency coaxial connector with an inner diameter of the outer conductor of 7mm (0.276 inches) and a characteristic impedance of 50Ω (75Ω). (IEC169-16)

    Type BNC connector: Bayonet locking radio frequency coaxial connector with inner diameter of outer conductor of 6.5mm (0.256 inch) and characteristic impedance of 50Ω. (IEC169-8)

    Type TNC connector: Threaded radio frequency coaxial connector with inner diameter of outer conductor of 6.5mm (0.256 inch) and characteristic impedance of 50Ω. (IEC169-17)

    Type SMA connector: threaded radio frequency coaxial connector with inner diameter of outer conductor of 4.13mm (0.163 inch) and characteristic impedance of 50Ω. (IEC169-15)

    Type SMB connector: Push-in locking radio frequency coaxial connector with an inner diameter of 3mm (0.12 inches) of outer conductor and a characteristic impedance of 50Ω. (IEC169-10)

    Type SMC connector: threaded radio frequency coaxial connector with the inner diameter of the outer conductor of 3mm (0.12 inches) and the characteristic impedance of 50Ω. (IEC169-9)

    Type SSMA connector: threaded radio frequency coaxial connector with inner diameter of outer conductor of 2.79mm (0.11 inch) and characteristic impedance of 50Ω. (IEC169-18)

    Type SSMB connector: Push-in locking radio frequency coaxial connector with inner diameter of outer conductor of 2.08mm (0.082 inches) and characteristic impedance of 50Ω. (IEC169-19)

    Type SSMC connector: threaded radio frequency coaxial connector with an inner diameter of the outer conductor of 2.08mm (0.082 inches) and a characteristic impedance of 50Ω. (IEC169-20)

    Type SC connector (SC-A and SC-B type): The outer conductor inner diameter is 9.5mm (0.374 inches), the characteristic impedance is 50Ω threaded type (two types have different types of connecting threads) radio frequency coaxial connector. (IEC169-21)

    APC7 type: precision medium-sized RF coaxial connector with inner diameter of outer conductor of 7mm (0.276 inches) and characteristic impedance of 50Ω. (IEC457-2)

    APC3.5 type: threaded radio frequency coaxial connector with inner diameter of outer conductor of 3.5mm (0.138 inch) and characteristic impedance of 50Ω. (IEC169-23)

    Type K: Threaded radio frequency coaxial connector with inner diameter of outer conductor of 2.92mm (0.115 inch) and characteristic impedance of 50Ω.

    OS-50 type: threaded radio frequency coaxial connector with inner diameter of outer conductor of 2.4mm (0.095 inch) and characteristic impedance of 50Ω.

    Type F: Threaded radio frequency coaxial connectors used in cable distribution systems with a characteristic impedance of 75Ω. (IEC169-24)

    Type E: Threaded radio frequency coaxial connectors used in cable distribution systems with a characteristic impedance of 75Ω. (IEC169-27)

    Type L: Metric threaded radio frequency coaxial connector, the threaded connection size is indicated by Arabic numerals after "L".

    (2) The structure code of the universal radio frequency connector is composed of the parts shown in the following table:
