  • RF Connectors Frequency Range Chart
RF Connectors Frequency Range Chart May 05, 2014
There are more than 75 different RF Coaxial Connectors that can be used in wireless systems.      ROHO has developed a RF Connector Frequency chart that can be used as a reference chart to tell you the max frequency (cutoff frequency) of each connector type.      It is recommended not to operate RF Connectors above their max frequency limit to ensure electrical performance of the system.      You can narrow down on the list of connector by selecting the connector type, gender, geometry and other parameters.      You can download the data sheet or request a quotation on the connectors that meet your requirement.      Your inquiry will be directly contacted us, and will get a reply soon.     Here is the RF connector frequency chart.

Types and uses of commonly used radio frequen cyand microwave measuring instruments Apr 07, 2014
RF Coaxial connectors are widely used in microwave instruments,For example: Wireless Comprehensive Tester,Signal and spectrum analyzer,EMI receiver,Network Analyzer,Oscilloscope,Signal generator,Power meter,Low frequency measuring instrument,DC power supply, ect.     Wireless Comprehensive Tester    The wireless comprehensive tester is a radio frequency and protocol performance test equipment for mobile communication terminals. It has the following test functions:    Mobile RF performance and throughput test    Vehicle eCall and ERA-GLONASS system testing    VoLTE and VoWLAN voice test    Mobile A-GNSS test    POLQA and PESQ voice quality test    IP multimedia service test    Video performance test    IP connection security test    Signal and spectrum analyzer    Signal and spectrum analyzers are instruments and equipment for spectrum analysis and demodulation analysis of input signals. There are the following types:    Professional top-level spectrum analyzer, but also top-level ultra-wideband broadband signal analyzer, with the best performance indicators    General-purpose spectrum analyzer, also a general-purpose signal analyzer    Economical spectrum analyzer, usually with basic spectrum analysis function    Handheld spectrum analyzer, suitable for field test    The basic function of the spectrum analyzer is spectrum analysis, which depicts the power spectrum of the signal in the frequency domain. Another important function is the I/Q vector analysis of signal modulation. The top-level spectrum analyzer has the following functions:    The frequency range of the high-end spectrum analyzer host is DC~90GHz, which can be extended by external mixing for millimeter wave/THz testing    Spectrum test    Harmonic spurious test    Signal level statistical test    Channel power/adjacent channel power test    Noise power test    Intermodulation test    Real-time spectrum analysis    Radar signal analysis    I/Q signal analysis    Analog modem analysis    Digital/vector signal demodulation analysis    Group delay measurement    Power amplifier measurement analysis (distortion, frequency response, group delay)    Noise power ratio NPR measurement    Phase noise measurement    EMI test    Frequency hopping/transient analysis    Bit error rate test    2G/3G/4G/5G all standard communication signal analysis    Aviation navigation signal analysis    In this category of instruments, there are some special instruments for specific test items:    Measurement receiver: a measurement-grade instrument, specially used to measure signal sources or attenuato...

  • The welding process of SMP RF connector
The welding process of SMP RF connector Mar 03, 2014
SMP connectors play the role of connecting or disconnecting coaxial cables, microstrip circuits, and transmitting signals in microwave circuits. It is an important function to realize electrical connection and signal transmission between modules and modules, components and components, systems and subsystems, etc. element.    SMP connectors have good broadband transmission characteristics and convenient and reliable connection methods, and are widely used in many fields such as satellites, radars, and communications.    The welding of SMP RF connectors includes the following five processes:     1. Clean the mounting holes of the SMP connector and housing     2. Brush the soldering flux on the position to be soldered in the mounting hole     3. Install the SMP connector and solder ring in the mounting hole     4. Put the SMP connector into the mounting hole, press the plug of the spring pin against the SMP connector, and then fix the spring pin with the stopper and fix the stopper.     5. Weld the SMP connector with the shell     Standard welding operation is conducive to maintaining product consistency and quality stability.

  • TNC connector is a threaded connector for small and medium power applications
TNC connector is a threaded connector for small and medium power applications Feb 10, 2014
The TNC connector is the threaded version of the BNC RF connector, the full English name is Thread Neill-Concelman (threaded connector), for use in small and medium power applications.    The TNC series of products are developed and produced in accordance with the US military standard MIL-C-39012, which meets the requirements of the national military standard GJB681, and the connecting thread is 7/16-28UNEF. Therefore, it can be interconnected with similar products at home and abroad.    TNC type radio frequency connector, working frequency up to 6GHz, with low voltage standing wave ratio, stable performance, high reliability, etc., widely used in mobile phones, aviation control, telemetry, Bluetooth and GPS components, wireless base stations, microwave communications, radars, networks Equipment, antenna support, machine-to-machine communication, security equipment, testing equipment, etc.     The structure of the TNC connector is divided into two types, male or female, with standard polarity or reverse polarity, and the impedance specification is 50 ohms.    The shape is divided into straight type or 90 degree right angle type, partition type, 4-hole panel type or installation-free type.    The termination methods of these TNC coaxial connectors are clip/welding, crimping/welding, welding or welding/welding.

  • 2.92mm,3.5mm and SMA connector
    2.92mm,3.5mm and SMA connector Jan 06, 2014
SMA, 3.5mm and 2.92mm connectors all have similar mechanical characteristics which allows them to be mated to each other. However, because the dimensions of each connector are slightly different the connection is not ideal and does result in degraded electrical performance.     The outer diameter of a SMA Connector is about 4.13 mm (0.163 in) and the outer diameter of the of the other two connectors are 3.5 mm and 2.92 mm (IEEE-std-287 defines the connector interface names based on their outer diameter).     Practically, the degraded electrical performance is not very significant and can be ignored in many cases/applications. However if you are working on a very sensitive system, then you should use matching connector interfaces for connections.     A point to note when mating an SMA connector with a 3.5mm or 2.92mm connector, the SMA's pin engages first and the threads are second - Due to which the connection must be made carefully to avoid damaging the connectors. When mating the 3.5 mm and 2.92 mm connectors with SMA connectors the threads mate first and then the pin providing a more stable connection which is less likely to damage the connectors.     Similarly, 2.4mm and 1.85mm connectors are also compatible with each other.
